Jenny Fujita has more that 25 years of communications and development experience. She specializes in advising clients on fundraising plans, capacity building, business strategy, and communications campaigns.
As the lead partner with FMPR’s nonprofit clients, Jenny has worked with organizations dedicated to making improvements in health and human services, education, housing, at-risk youth, leadership development, and more.
Before establishing FMPR, she served as the Public Information Officer for the County of Kaua`i and was the Public Relations & Communications Specialist at Kaua`i Electric (KE), Kaua`i’s sole electric utility. Prior to working at KE, Fujita was the Director of Development at Planned Parenthood in West Chester, Pennsylvania and the Special Projects and Research Manager for Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She was also an Account Executive for the Philadelphia-based advertising agency Earl Palmer Brown.
Fujita has a cum laude bachelor’s degree in psychology with minors in studio art and Asian religions from Bucknell University. Fujita was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, moved to Kaua`i in 1994, and moved to Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley in 2010.
