Welcome to Your Public is Waiting and our first blog post!  While this blog will always be about exploring creative and effective ways to relate to your publics, it will also sometimes include personal experiential notes to help us make our points.  That is, we’ll blur the lines between our professional and personal lives.  That in itself is a good PR insight when dealing with your publics: make it personal.  Always appropriate, but personal.  Get to know your customers below the surface – their children’s names, where they’re from, what their hobbies are.  You never know where that information will lead you and how it might enable you to serve your customers better.  So go ahead, blur the lines.
