Love Notes

Love Notes

PiikeaWritingFeeling loved, understood, respected and appreciated are the keys to solid family relationships.  Write a love note to someone you love today. Complete the sentence,  “I love the way you…” or I love when you…” Even just a word or two will do, especially if it’s in an unusual place.

I found a printable from Passionforsavings.com one year when I was looking for a meaningful Valentine’s Day gift for my kids (who don’t need any more candy or toys).  It’s a worksheet that you fill in by completing various sentences, such as “I love to go with you to…” or “I am crazy about you because…” Although it’s purposed as a Valentine’s printable, you can use it for any occasion, birthdays, Mother’s Day, etc.  This makes for an easy, DIY gift.  Of course it’s great for children to fill out for moms, dads, and grandparents, but can be used by anyone of any age. Who wouldn’t love to receive this?  Sometimes we forget to communicate our sincere feelings to the people we love the most.  This printable does all of that and will be a cherished keepsake. Tip: place it in a frame for a more substantial look.
